Bright Pink Twin Bedroom Set

 This is a special order for a my daughters dear friend.  It turned out so cute.  I just wish I had somewhere to put this in my home.  Its such a fun color. 

 You can see that the knob has not been added.  It is a glass knob and it will complete the set perfectly. 

 

I will also be doing a night stand to go with this set that she already owns.  I will post pictures of that when I get it finished.

Cute Side Table $45 SOLD

This is made of all wood and has been painted a neutral taupe/greyish color, distressed and then glazed with a black stain.

Chippy Side Table $40 - SOLD

This cute little chippy side table would be a perfect accent piece next to your couch or as a night stand. 

This is made of all wood and has been painted a aqua blue, distressed and then glazed with a black stain.  In some spots the distressing shows the black paint that was painted as the 1st layer and a layer of golden yellow that I added in spots for added depth.  

The hardware is original.  It has been updated with a coat of oil rubbed bronze.

Newly Painted Armoire is Finished!

The reveal!!!
I love the color of the blue that we chose to use on this piece of furniture.  

This resides in my daughters room. 

She completely loves it.

Look how beautiful and cheerful this color is...

The doors have the original handles.  I replaced the lower pulls with new ones.  They were not the style we were looking for.   So, I gave all the hardware a coat of black paint then a light coat of "Oil Rubbed Bronze"  spray paint. 

I was so impatient that I had to go to Home Depot and buy the pulls. 

I didn't want to wait for them to be shipped.  I have learned my lesson though.   I could have saved a bundle, but I did get to say I am finished with this project.. Yeah!

So should I glaze it or leave it as is???

I can't decide for the life of me.  I am really having an argument with myself over this.

Welcome to all who stop by to have a look around.  It's so great to finally be starting up a new blog.  I have had a personal blog for a few years, and I have wanted to start a blog that was more towards the hobbies that I enjoy.  So buckle up! I hope you enjoy the journey. 

How to create your own Signature

How many of you have wanted a personalized blog signature, but you weren’t quite sure how to do it. Or you were afraid of messing up your blog with all the html changes. Well here is a simple way to do this.

How I made my own Blog signature?

First go to www.mylivesignature.com

Step 1. Enter the Name you are going to use. Click “next step”

Step 2. Next choose the Font you like. Please note that there are 120 Fonts to choose from. You can preview before you decide. Click “next step”

Step 3. Next choose the Font size. I used #5. You can choose always go back and make this bigger if needed. Click “next step”

Step 4. Click to change the background color. You can choose a color, or you can make it transparent so that your signature will only show, and not a colored background. I choose transparent because when I change my blog background it will work with anything.

Now pick a text color. I choose black. Click “next step”

Step 5. Set the slope. I am choosing #6. Pick the one you like. Click “next step”

Step 6. Now on this step you have to choose what you want to do with the signature. Click the choice that says Want to use this signature?

Then choose HTML. Click on Generate HTML Code.

Then on the next page click on Generate a code for my handwritten signature.

Step 7. Below the line that says “Generated HTML Code for your signature” You need to copy the HTML code. Now go to your blog!

Okay so are you following me so far. If so you should have your blog up on your screen.

Step 8. Click on dashboard, and go to the “Design” tab. Then click on “Edit HTML” tab. Then click the 'Expand Widgets Box' Find the following code in your blogs html.(Click 'CTRL and F' for a search bar to find this code)

Paste the code for your signature Directly Below or After the code you see above-

Note : If this code is in your template twice place it after the second one.

This is the Signature code!

Remove the code in Green and Keep the code in Purple!

Now save your template and view your blog. You can now look at your posts and the signature has been added.

Step 9. Now enjoy looking at your awesome signature!!!
